Supporting Springer isn’t just about donating money, although we need that to and if you haven’t had a chance to donate you can do so HERE. We want every family to be a part of our community!

STAY INFORMED

  1. SUBSCRIBE to the Springer Calendar all school wide events are included on this calendar.

  2. REGISTER on Classroom Parent, our volunteer & communication tool to ensure you receive notifications of events, speakers, and ways to volunteer to support your child.

  3. JOIN the Springer Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to ensure the best education for your child. Dues are $10 per family!

  4. ATTEND Wednesday assembly, PTA meetings & school events

    • Announcements are made at the weekly Monday assembly immediately after drop off

  5. READ your email. PTA leaders, teachers and staff thoughtfully send information and updates for you! Watch for emails from these emails and domains! Mark them as your inbox VIPs!

  6. CHECK your child’s Friday Folder. They’ll bring home information about school wide events as well as teacher notes!

GET INVOLVED

There is an impact to be made even if you only have 10 minutes a week or a few hours once a year to give! Being a volunteer is one of the most impactful ways to promote your child’s educational outcomes. If you’re not sure where to start, reach out to community@springerpta.org and we’ll figure it out with you!

UPCOMING SUPPORT NEEDED

  • HOST A COMMUNITY PARTY: Round up some friends to co-host, find a fun theme, and host a party for your child’s grade, a group of parents, or families. The BEST way to help raise funds for Springer AND build our community! Learn more.

  • EVENT VOLUNTEERING: From home on your time, help with simple fun school events like movie night or our annual parent gala. Sign up to volunteer for upcoming events HERE

  • BACK TO SCHOOL: Help hand out popsicles at Pop ‘n Stop the Monday before school, set up coffee at the Parent Coffee on the first day of school, send sponsorship letters to local businesses, and more all need to be done at the beginning of the school year.

  • FALL: Our annual MULTICULTURAL FAIR always needs more participation from the various cultures represented at Springer, and the most fun day of the year, our WALKATHON, takes many hands to make happen.

  • SPRING: Help gather auction items for our annual silent and live auctions, decorate for the parent gala, organize raffle ticket sales, etc.

  • END OF YEAR: Organize supplies for Field Day on the last Friday of school, assist with Appreciation Week activities, help with classroom supplies inventory for the fall, and more!
