Hosting Community Parties
Like a birthday party where guests donate to a charity in lieu of gifts, community parties raise funds for PTA and bring our community together! Parties can be for all students in a grade level, a small group of adults or kids, or whole families. The activities can be simple or elaborate. Teachers and parents host parties to bring our community together as a gift to the PTA. The “ticket” price paid by guests is a donation to PTA!
The cost of the party is your donation to the PTA. The ticket price paid by your guests goes directly to the PTA as a donation. Typically, kids' parties are $25 per child and adult parties are $40-$75 per adult BUT the pricing may vary depending on the scope of the party (cost of alcohol, food, etc).
STEP ONE: Discuss with friends and brainstorm party ideas you would like to host - check out past auction catalogs for party ideas. and this list of ideas for inspiration.
STEP TWO: Set a date, a location, a number of attendees to host. Check the Springer Calendar for date conflicts. Email community@springerpta.org for questions about dates.

PTA Volunteers will ensure everything is in order, get your party information added to the Springer Calendar and sign up tools, and reach out to you if anything is still in question or if you need guidance setting a ticket price or other details. Before the party you’ll receive a list of attendees and their emails so you can add them to an invitation with all the details. Please email parties@springerpta.org with questions.
